1st Day: Start your 3-Day trip with a pick up from your central Athens hotel and depart through Thebes, Livadia (short stop) and Arachova for Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. Explore the archaeological site and marvel at the Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle. Stroll around the relics of the Temple as your professional guide describes its purpose and construction. Second stop is the museum of Delphi with its spectacular finds, including the unique bronze Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx and the statue of Antinoos. Check in to your hotel and spend your afternoon as you wish. Overnight stay in Delphi.

2nd Day: The next morning is at your leisure to relax or to visit the town of Delphi. In the afternoon  meet our guide and depart through Central Greece  to Kalambaka, a small town built at the foot of the majestic grey rocks, crowned by the Meteora Monasteries. Overnight stay in Kalambaka.

3rd Day: After your breakfast, depart for nearby Meteora to visit the Byzantine monasteries built on top of rock towers and providing fantastic views over the plain. Listen to fascinating stories by your guide and learn how they provided refuge for monks in the bloody aftermath of the Roman Empire. Disappointed with the bus to Delphi, certainly not luxurious as promoted. The guide Christina was very knowledgeable. Too much time was spent in Delphi on the 3 day tour and I would recommend that the 2 or 4 day trip would be better value. Hotel accommodation was very good. Would rate the trip from Delphi as 4 star. Athens to Delphi 3 star.

A wonderful trip ! Our guide Marianna was really interesting, and always cheerful. Everything was very well organized. The hotels were very comfortable and well located in Delphi and Kalambaka, and both hotels had a swimming pool. The food in the hotel and restaurant was very good. We had time to visit the monasteries in Meteora and make pictures of the stunning view. The driver was very professional and competent, and I felt safe. This tour is a very good way to visit Greece. I really recommend Key tours !

Although the guides we had were very good, we were very unhappy with the accommodation that we were given and the food provided to us. The places we stopped for lunch were also of a poor standard. Also we were told when we got to Athens that the company would not be able to drop us off at our hotel because it was different from the one we were picked up from. We therefore were dropped in the middle of Athens and told to pay for a taxi.

Dear Sir

Thank you for your mail. As already mention we will speak to the hotel owners about the food issue. Furthermore as drop off is concerned we are not offering pick up or drop off in PIREAUS port

Thanks

This three day tour was an absolutely wonderful way of seeing the food bowl of Greece and the ancient historical monuments. Not only were the tour guides exceptionally knowledgeable both of modern and ancient Grecian history but friendly, happy and always helpful. The collection from hotels to a central bus pickup was smooth and efficient both to and from the tour. The day trips and food provided were on the whole first class. In many locations they provided local cuisine which made for a tasty and wonderful culinary experience. The only exception was in Delphi ( Delphi Palace ) where the hotel was far from four star and yet the food provided was more than adequate. We feel they could improve on that particular accommodation, as it was beyond tired! It will more than definitely happen as the new year approaches because the establishment was due to close for renovations no great surprises there! The Amalia Hotel next door at least looks very modern so it may well be a replacement in the future? All in all it still rates as the finest few days on the mainland of Greece. An absolute must for ancient history buffs.

The tour was really very good. It was well organised, the hotels were fantastic, the bus was comfortable and the tour guides were excellent. We learned so much. In fact, the guide on the Delphi tour, Kristina, was probably the best tour guide I have ever experienced.

Thank you for a wonderful 3 days.

We thoroughly enjoyed our entire 3-week stay in Greece.
