This tour was very interesting and informative. The lunch was delicious. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed our tour!!
The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. the driver was smart, clean and looked well rested. The coach was clean and well maintained. Excellent time management, skill from the tour guide, sufficient time at each location and a great collection of sights. Great experience
Late pick up but everything other than that was phenomenal. Food & restaurant were excellent.
Overall i think it was a very good tour, the guide was very patient , kind, professional. I like her explanation. I love Epidaurus, i would like to spend more time there
The guide is really nice and she knows her job. I also would really like to spend a more time at some of the tour places. i also liked that the tour has many stops so people can stand up and go to the bathroom
This is my third tour with Key Tours after discovering they visit Nafplion. Nafplion is so spectacular, each visit I try to extend my stay. This year I wanted a 4 night layover in Nafplion but was only able to do 3 nights because another tour was not returning through Nafplion to pick us (myself & 2 friends) on the 5th day which is how it works. Our travel dates were June 30-July 3 & I had requested & received confirmation on the Ippoliti Hotel (First Class) as the Hotel of my choice January 6 which is how I roll - book early! I love the Ippoliti Hotel so was quite dismayed & upset when I was told we were staying at the Zenon Hotel in Nafplion instead (sister hotel to IP). Our tour guide, Helen (I think that was her name) tried as she might to straighten things out but apparently IP only has 3 rooms for triple accommodations & they were all booked before me, so good for those folks! We therefore were directed to Zenon & discovered no lift, however there was someone to lug our 50lb bags each (yep, we take too much) up the stairs for us & Maria, the manager I presume at the hotel, was more gracious & service oriented than I could ever desire, making sure we were comfortable & had a HUGE TV placed in our room, though we certainly didn't require one! It ended up we had an enormous room for the 3 of us (one double & a couch bed - we made it work), with a enormous bathroom (jet bath), balcony overlooking the square (Rm 102), and even a workable kitchen if we chose to use it! Downside is no pool but we could walk over & use the IP one if we like & it just so happen that something was wrong with their phone system & we had to walk over to IP to use theirs for calling the USA with our phone cards BUT workmen were on site when we were getting ready to leave to fix this concern. Though the square can be lively & loud at night with concerts & lots of activity, the upside is there is always something to watch right outside your balcony at any time of the day, so I look at it as a plus! Views of Palamidi & the clocktower are always present from Rm 102 also. Breakfast was a real special event when we each ordered our pressed coffee, divine yogurt topped with toasted walnuts & a beautiful fruit tray although there are many other choices available. Helen our tour guide to Nafplion has been doing so for 40 years & she is a hoot (very entertaining) though not as easily to understand as Christina who was our guide from Nafplion & excellent in explanation & speaking English flawlessly. This tour makes getting to/from Nafplion easy when I am with a group of girlfriends plus it takes in both must see sights at Epidaurus & Mycenae including interesting stops at the Corinth Canal, for lunch on return, & a reproduction shop with informative demonstrations in pottery. I look forward to booking with Key Tours again if I am lucky enough to return to Nafplion for a 4th visit...but somehow will try to work out a 4 night stay if at all possible. Nafplion is a JEWEL, Zenon is wonderful (as is Maria) - don't miss it! (I will have more photos of Zenon on Tripadvisor by CGODEZ)
A highly recommended tour. This is an extensive day trip which includes, Epidauros, Mycenae, Napflio and the Corinth Canal. The climb to the acropolis of Mycenae is quite scenic with olive trees in the valley all around. This is where the famed Agamemnon lived. The amphitheatre of Epidauros and the sanctuary of Asklepios are very beautiful indeed. Napflio has this beautiful fortress of Palamidi, where there is a short stop. The Corinth Canal, connects the Ionian and the Aegean sea, and is a must see. The tour guide was very well informed, which is what makes all the difference
We took 3 tours: Cape Sounion, Mycenae/Epidaurus, and Delphi. All the three guides were very knowledgeable, and excellent at narrating. I wish we took the Acropolis & Acropolis Museum tour from them. They were on time for both pickup and drop-off. I am very satisfied with their tours and strongly recommend them. Usually, I take private tours but with these guys, I could not believe that they do such a good job with live narration while in bus. They spend enormous amount of time explaining every little thing and in a simple manner too.
We have enjoyed visiting at very famous traditional sites very well. Thank you o much for helping us. i wish i had more time to see in detail and to understand more. overall great tour
This was an excellent tour. Nasso was very knowledgeable of all areas. Lunch was also delicious
